Role: D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) Social Seller

Description:

The ideal candidate for the D2C Social Seller role is a proactive and customer-focused professional with a passion for leveraging social media platforms to drive direct sales to consumers. They should have a deep understanding of social selling strategies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with and convert leads into customers through social media channels. Strategic thinking, adaptability, and effective collaboration skills are key attributes that contribute to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute social selling strategies to drive direct-to-consumer sales through social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (ex Twitter), TikTok, and others.

- Identify and engage with potential customers through targeted outreach, personalized messaging, and relationship-building tactics.

- Utilize social media listening tools to monitor conversations and trends, identify purchase intent signals, and capitalize on sales opportunities.

- Create and share compelling content, promotions, and offers to drive engagement and conversion on social media channels.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align social selling efforts with overall brand and product strategies.

- Leverage social media advertising and targeting capabilities to reach and engage with target consumer audiences effectively.

- Track and analyze social selling activities and performance metrics to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies.

- Stay updated on industry trends, social selling best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve social selling efforts.

Requirements:

- Recent high school or college graduates with proven to no prior experience in direct-to-consumer sales or social selling roles with a successful track record of driving sales through social media channels.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and social selling techniques.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and convert leads into customers.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.

- Adaptability to evolving social media trends and consumer behaviors.

- Familiarity with social media management tools, CRM systems, and e-commerce platforms.

- The D2C Social Seller will play a crucial role in driving direct-to-consumer sales revenue by leveraging social media platforms to identify leads, engage with prospects, and convert them into customers. Their work will contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the organization.
